Dr. Posey
Dr.
David M. Posey started out early on his life of achievement as a
decorated Eagle Scout. He completed his undergraduate studies in
Chemistry in 1969 and went on to receive his medical degree in 1974.
After an internship in Internal Medicine he began a distinguished
career in Pathology and Forensic Medicine. He is board certified
in Anatomic, Clinical and Forensic Pathology.
He
served 22 years in the U.S. Army, retiring as a Colonel. During
his tour of duty he successfully held a variety of challenging posts
in Pathology and Forensic Medicine. Dr. Posey is an active member
in many professional and medical societies.
He
has personally conducted greater than 3,000 autopsies and given
expert testimony in 50 criminal, civil and military trials and given
over 70 depositions.
He
has been sought out for expert forensic consultation for Discovery
Channel documentaries on Unsolved Mysteries. Dr. Posey has been
involved in landmark research resulting publications concerning
sudden unexpected death and sickle cell trait.
The
common thread running through his professional activities is a dedicated
pursuit of answers for the truth.
